  14.   I just "upgraded" my perfectly functioning 14.4 modem with a Boca 
  15. 28.8 MV.34AI Internal.  At first I could not get this modem to respond to 
  16. anything.  So I then followed the Installation instructions which has me 
  17. install a "drivers" diskette which ultimately installs an entry in my 
  18. Autoexec.bat.  This new TSR takes up about 15K of precious memory and 
  19. with it, the modem appears to work fine - without it - no response!!  I'm 
  20. not ready to use a new modem which REQUIRES a 15K TSR to run!!  Could 
  21. this be some sort of RPI like software (the modem chips say AT&T - not 
  22. Rockwell)??  My Email questions to Boca so far have gone unanswered.  Can 
  23. someone shed some light???
