- I just "upgraded" my perfectly functioning 14.4 modem with a Boca
- 28.8 MV.34AI Internal. At first I could not get this modem to respond to
- anything. So I then followed the Installation instructions which has me
- install a "drivers" diskette which ultimately installs an entry in my
- Autoexec.bat. This new TSR takes up about 15K of precious memory and
- with it, the modem appears to work fine - without it - no response!! I'm
- not ready to use a new modem which REQUIRES a 15K TSR to run!! Could
- this be some sort of RPI like software (the modem chips say AT&T - not
- Rockwell)?? My Email questions to Boca so far have gone unanswered. Can
- someone shed some light???
